Sustainability is our biggest driver here.
Looking after the land so that in turn it will look after us in. To achieve this, we’ve developed sustainability plans right across our farm and our business – plans that we use every day to make informed decisions about the future.
No detail is ignored. Cropping, fencing, stock, you name it we have a best practice guideline in place for the best possible end result.
Keeping our waterways fresh and clean is a given. We also aim to stay true to our natural environment by keeping things as native as possible - but not so rigidly that it could harm our stock or our farm. And while we’re not reliant on tech, we have teamed up with Farm IQ to help us analyse, compare and plan smarter, more sustainable ways to farm in the future.
It’s all part of the landscape here at Whangara, managing the farm to help us preserve the goodness for future generations to enjoy.
