Hon. Mark Patterson visits Whāngārā Farms

Whāngārā Farms in partnership with Ministry for Primary Industries, and funded by the Māori Agribusiness Climate Programme are working to develop a visionary 100-year masterplan for the whenua that outlines how the business, shareholders and all whānau will prosper on our whenua – He Rau Ake Ake.
Today, we were incredibly honoured to have Associate Minister of Agriculture, Mark Patterson MP, alongside Glenn Webber, Deputy Director-General Māori Partnerships and Investment, and the team from Ministry for Primary Industries in our office today with Hayden Swann (Whāngārā Farms Board Chair), Dame Ingrid Collins (Whāngārā B5 Chair), and Ray Leach (Whāngārā Farms Business Manager) to discuss He Rau Ake Ake.
He Rau Ake Ake is the platform for Whāngārā Farms reaching our economic, environmental and social potential, and supporting our shareholders and hapū in living aligned to our values, while providing intergenerational opportunities for all.
Next week, we look forward to shining a light on our He Rau Ake Ake project team and continuing to share the mahi underway through He Rau Ake Ake.
